Every spring the waters are crowded with sand bass. Large-mouth
bass, crappie and bream are also plentiful and there’s always
a good chance of catching a mess of catfish. Boat ramps are
available south of the Railroad Bridge in Logansport, in Garret
Park and along Highway 84 on the Texas side of the lake. We have
scenic forests filled with wildlife, lakes that are brimming
with fish and golf courses that offer a real challenge. DeSoto
Parish is also just minutes away from professional baseball,
hockey, horse-racing, casino gaming and much more. Whatever your
pleasure, from the thrill of jet boat racing on the Sabine River
